Saddle up, people.
The Maine Lottery has launched its Big Country Cash I’m With The Band Ultimate Touring Experience promotion.
Anyone with a non-winning Big Country Cash lottery scratcher can enter their ticket online for a “once-in-a-lifetime” chance to join country singer Lee Brice on tour.
Three winners receive a lavish country music experience
Three lucky lottery players will win the I’m With the Band contest, which entitles each winner and a guest to spend five days and four nights on the road with Brice. The prize includes:
- Roundtrip airfare for the winner and a guest
- Transportation and accommodations aboard a luxury bus
- Three meals a day
- Two VIP passes to concerts during the trip
- Two backstage passes for each concert
- A chance to meet and talk with Brice
- Giveaways
- $500 in spending money
The Maine Lottery notes winners will typically get to attend two concerts.
Gigtours to organize and run the trip for the winners
Brice, a South Carolina native, is known for, among other things, his hit single “Love Like Crazy.” The song was Billboard’s #1 country hit of 2010 and was on Billboard’s country charts for a record-breaking 54 consecutive weeks.
The country star is partnering with at least one more state to do a similar promotion. Vermont’s lottery is also offering an on-the-road experience.
In an interview with Country Music News Blog, Brice said he’s excited to get the chance to meet the winners.
“The GigTours I’m With The Band promotion is an extraordinary opportunity for fans to score an up-close and personal experience—on tour—with their favorite artists. I have a genuine admiration and appreciation for the support of my fans and look forward to taking them on the road with me as part of the GigTour in the coming months.”
The contest has three drawings and starts in April
The Maine Lottery will announce winners in three phases. Players can enter the contest by going to the promotion website and providing the serial number of a non-winning Big Country Cash (#548) scratcher.
You can find the number at the bottom front of the ticket in the scratch-off area. Players get one entry per ticket and can enter as many tickets as they’d like.
The Lottery will choose a winning second-chance ticket at each of three drawings: Apr. 12, Aug. 2, and a date to be determined. Though players can enter all three drawings, they can only do so by the drawing’s entry deadline:
- Apr. 12 drawing deadline: Apr. 9 at 11:59 p.m.
- Aug. 2 drawing deadline: Jul. 30 at 11:59 p.m.
- The third drawing’s deadline and drawing date have yet to be determined.
Maine Lottery will contact winners within 10 days of the second-chance drawings. Entrants can only win one prize. Entires have to be done through the Maine Lottery website and cannot be mailed.
